I never really had a need for a Youtube channel but since I have been working with Dream Team Promotions on some of their events I have been doing some video production to recap the events. It is something I am starting to enjoy as much as Design and Photography so you will definitely see much more video work coming!

Check out and follow my videos by Clicking Here.

Here is a quick sample, here is what I put together from the last event!

Victor Cruz Signing at the Poughkeepsie Galleria

Last week I was contacted on twitter by Dream Team Promotions about an upcoming event with Victor Cruz of the New York Giants, being the big Giants fan I am there was no way I couldn't be a part of this event. So I made the trip to Poughkeepsie to help cover the event, I took some photos as well as put together a quick video that you can check out.

For those who don't follow the NFL let me tell you who Victor Cruz is, he is a player that was as good as cut but had a great preseason and a few injuries on the Giants gave him an opportunity to prove himself, and prove himself he did! In what should be considered his rookie season he has tied and broken records, was one of the top receivers in the league, has made some amazing plays and has helped the Giants get to the Super Bowl... Oh and we cant leave out the infamous Salsa celebration dance when he scores. Now with all that said you would think it would go to his head, if you think that you are completely wrong, he is completely down to earth and loves his fans. This appearance made me realize he is pretty much the Justin Bieber of the NFL, even with the mall closed down he stuck around and signed every last autograph, no one was turned away!

Now there will be more events coming up that I am going to help Dream Team promotions out with, be sure to check them out at www.dreamteampromos.com and of course follow the blog for more updates!

Mache Business Cards - Twitter embedding test

So I recently helped out Mache Custom Kicks with some new business cards, for anyone following that is into kicks like I am knows who Mache is. I've done work for him in the past and he needed some new business cards since some of his work is really getting noticed now.

Normally I dont post about business cards but I wanted to test out the new Twitter embedding feature and since Mache mentioned the cards I figured this is the perfect way to test it out. So check out his tweet and pic of the cards and be sure to check him out on facebook as well.

The Official Website of C.J. Watson launched!

For the millions of you that follow the blog, and by millions I really mean all 4 of you... you may have seen in the past some of the work I have done for NBA player C.J. Watson and his Quiet Storm foundation. My design background is mainly in print design, but I have been doing more web work, not a lot of programming and coding but mostly design work for web sites, etc. So to expand my abilities with a lot of what I will call "guidance" from a good friend Jerry Piscitelli (the creator of PortOpong) I took on the job of creating C.J. Watsons official website

The original plan was that I would design the layout and graphics of the site and Jerry would do the programming while teaching me along the way... well he is a tough teacher, he got the outline of the site started, gave me some of the basics and then told me to go for it... It was a lot of learning along the way, a ton of emailing Jerry to ask for "guidance" and eventually it all came together. The site is now live and running, my first official site, and as with many sites, it is a work in progress and will be getting better and growing over time. So please check out the site at www.cjwatson32.com and let me know what you think!

Also, I really want to thank Jerry for having so much patience with me and helping me out along the way, be sure to check out the portopong at www.portopong.com

This is just the beginning of me expanding my portfolio to include more web work!

Renee Montgomery's New Logo Design

So its been a while since I have blogged... I know, I know it seems like I start every blog off this way, but what can I say, its true...

Anyways, as you may have seen I have done some work for a few NBA players in the past (and there will be more work coming soon...) well here is the first work I have done for a WNBA player. Everyone knows how great the UCONN women's program is and has been for a while now and their program has produces some of the best players in the WNBA including Renee Montgomery. Renee finished up her first season playing back in Connecticut with the CT Sun last season and she recently launched her new website, R21M.com. So I offered to help out with the logo, she would need a new one since she had always worn number 20 and after being traded to the Sun her number was changed to 21. If you look closely at the logo you will see her initials and number all flowing together, RM21. We had gone back and forth on a few variations of this logo and the winning result is what you see above.
Be sure to check out Renee's new site and even enter her ugly sweater contest, I'm sure thats just the beginning of what is to come from her site this season, right now she is playing overseas but will be back soon to start her second season with the Sun.

Magic "Tweet-Up"

It has been a while since the last blog, not that I haven't had a lot going on, just slow to update the blog.

So anyways, we were finally heading down to Orlando for our long awaited vacation. While we were there there was a little event planned, which according to google is called a "tweet-up". This was an event where I got to meet up with a lot of the people I have talked to on twitter along with a few players from the Orlando Magic showing up. Everything went great, it was set up at NBA city which is located at the Universal Studios City walk in Orlando. We had the top floor (for anyone who has been there before) and a few of the newest members of the Orlando Magic came as well, Quentin Richardson, Chris Duhon and Daniel Orton. They were all great, taking pics and hanging out with all of us, they even went downstairs to wish a happy birthday to a girl that was celebrating her birthday there with her friends/family.

Here are a few pics from the event, met some great people and had a great time, cant wait to get back to Orlando again soon!

In Las Vegas with the Quiet Storm foundation

It has been a while since the last blog, yes I've been slacking with the updates but I will try to do better.

A few weeks ago I was invited out to Las Vegas for another Quiet Storm Foundation event, those of you who do not know about the foundation please click here to find out more, its a great organization run by C.J. Watson and his family. This event was their annual back to school extravaganza, there was a lot of great entertainment for the kids, C.J. signed autographs and met with some of his fans, the UNLV cheerleaders stopped by as well. It was a great day with a big turnout.

This also happened to be my first trip to Vegas, I wasn't there for long but in the little time I was there the Watson family did their best to show me as much as they could.

C.J. also did a quick interview for eastbay/solecollector which you can read here.

Here are a few photos from the day, including one of the first pics you will see of C.J. in a Bulls jersey since he was traded from the Warriors this summer. Be sure to watch out for C.J. this year, he is now with a great young team that will definitely utilize his talents this season, his official website will be coming soon, I will make sure to blog when it is up and running, until then you can follow C.J. on twitter here or become a fan on facebook here and definitely become a fan of the Quiet Storm foundation on facebook as well here.

C.J. has a few contests coming up as well so check out all his pages for more information.

Quiet Storm Hoops for Hope Tennessee event

Well it has been a while since the last blog post but there has been a lot going on so I will slowly but surely catch everyone up. So first we will start off with the Hoops for Hope Quiet Storm Foundation event in Tennessee with C.J. Watson. For those who don't know who C.J. is now you will soon enough, he is currently playing for the Golden State Warriors. Now the foundation was started by C.J. and his family who are all great people. If you are near any Quiet Storm events I definitely suggest you check it out! This event consisted of 2 basketball day camps for the kids, a performance by Dean "HB" Vitale and also the ToeTag Monologues, those who are unaware of the ToeTag Monologues I highly suggest you check them out, its a great show with a great message to it!

The day flew by and was a great time for everyone, I know we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to doing more work with the foundation. Above are a few pics from the day or C.J. with the kids and the performances.
