The Official Website of C.J. Watson launched!

For the millions of you that follow the blog, and by millions I really mean all 4 of you... you may have seen in the past some of the work I have done for NBA player C.J. Watson and his Quiet Storm foundation. My design background is mainly in print design, but I have been doing more web work, not a lot of programming and coding but mostly design work for web sites, etc. So to expand my abilities with a lot of what I will call "guidance" from a good friend Jerry Piscitelli (the creator of PortOpong) I took on the job of creating C.J. Watsons official website

The original plan was that I would design the layout and graphics of the site and Jerry would do the programming while teaching me along the way... well he is a tough teacher, he got the outline of the site started, gave me some of the basics and then told me to go for it... It was a lot of learning along the way, a ton of emailing Jerry to ask for "guidance" and eventually it all came together. The site is now live and running, my first official site, and as with many sites, it is a work in progress and will be getting better and growing over time. So please check out the site at www.cjwatson32.com and let me know what you think!

Also, I really want to thank Jerry for having so much patience with me and helping me out along the way, be sure to check out the portopong at www.portopong.com

This is just the beginning of me expanding my portfolio to include more web work!

Renee Montgomery's New Logo Design

So its been a while since I have blogged... I know, I know it seems like I start every blog off this way, but what can I say, its true...

Anyways, as you may have seen I have done some work for a few NBA players in the past (and there will be more work coming soon...) well here is the first work I have done for a WNBA player. Everyone knows how great the UCONN women's program is and has been for a while now and their program has produces some of the best players in the WNBA including Renee Montgomery. Renee finished up her first season playing back in Connecticut with the CT Sun last season and she recently launched her new website, R21M.com. So I offered to help out with the logo, she would need a new one since she had always worn number 20 and after being traded to the Sun her number was changed to 21. If you look closely at the logo you will see her initials and number all flowing together, RM21. We had gone back and forth on a few variations of this logo and the winning result is what you see above.
Be sure to check out Renee's new site and even enter her ugly sweater contest, I'm sure thats just the beginning of what is to come from her site this season, right now she is playing overseas but will be back soon to start her second season with the Sun.
